Our goal is to encourage the local handmade community through workshops, markets, cool projects, and great partnerships!
You probably know us best from the annual Etsy: Made in Canada event, which featured tonnes of local handmade and vintage sellers. We started small in 2014, but have grown exponentially with the generous support of the Calgary community.
As of 2022, we have rebranded and changed our name to Found. Etsy Calgary had always been a locally-owned and operated Calgary business and started as a Team on Etsy.com. As the dynamics of online shopping have changed, we wanted to make sure we’re supporting our community of local handmade and vintage shops by including those who find success on other sales platforms.
The core of what we do hasn’t changed: we’re always going to be committed to making quality markets that feature solid handmade and vintage small businesses from right here in our own backyard.
Found is owned and operated by Jillian Logee.
We would like to acknowledge the land upon which Etsy Calgary operates are the traditional territories of the peoples of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta. This includes the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) First Nation tribes of the Siksika, the Piikuni, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Stoney Nakoda First Nations, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations. The City of Calgary is also the homeland of the historic Northwest Métis and to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
